Located 15 kilometres north of Lillehammer, Hafjell is one of Norway's largest and most versatile ski resorts.

In addition, Hafjell is a snow-sure destination and a favourite among families looking for great skiing experiences that suit all levels. The resort was built in the summer/autumn of 1988 to emphasise Lillehammer's commitment to hosting the 1994 Winter Olympics – which they successfully won.

Located in Gudbrandsdalen valley, Hafjell often receives early and consistent snowfall, which is important for providing the best experience for skiers throughout the season. Hafjell also has over 180 snow cannons that produce six truckloads of snow per minute. The combination of natural snowfall and artificial snow ensures excellent conditions on the slopes. Hafjell's snowmaking system covers 90% of the entire resort.
