A round of applause for Skifer Naturheim for their work. Local slate provides a sense of place, and even though that connection cost us a bit more, it was absolutely worth it.
The hotel features 177 rooms, modern and flexible conference facilities, a restaurant, and a wellness area. Quality Hotel Skifer is located 545 metres above sea level and surrounded by the Trollheimen mountain range and Dovre National Park.
The hard material used both inside and outside contrasts with the soft, warm hotel experience. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the large fireplace, which, combined with the rustic oak flooring, will make you want to stay forever... or at least one more day.
In 2023, 27 apartments were sold and completed that are part of the hotel complex.
